A Much Needed Update

Sorry I haven't updated in so long. Things have been pretty crazy. Humans have to worry about this thing called the 'economy' and apparently it got sick and threw up on the carpet.

That's never good.

Along with life doing its thing, this has made for some serious changes in my pack life.

My human is currently very far away (her old job was apparently in that bad spot on the carpet) and so I'm staying with my friends until she gets back. Luckily that should be really soon!

She says that we're going to have an adventure...road trip, new den, even new pack members (she said something about a cat)! I'll tell you all about it when it happens.

Until then I'm staying in shape with lots of hiking. My friends love taking me out with my backpack. I also heard that I have a vet visit coming up (just a normal one) but I love my vet so that should be okay.

Daily Diary Pick and Valentines Day!

Apparently Dogster picked my Fox Tails diary as a Daily Pick! That's so neat! I'm going to try to update my diary even more so I can keep in the running.

Happy Valentines Day, everyone! Remember to tell all of the animals in your life (even the less-adorable human ones) how much they mean to you. Rescue dogs like me really appreciate all the love we've been given.

Happy Birthday to Me!

I just turned three on February 2nd! On saturday I got a new big-dog bed and lots of new rawhides. Then a new human friend named Rishell came over and gave me a hula monkey toy. I don't usually get stuffed toys but I really liked the monkey.

Then we all went to central park. I met some other dogs and saw the ducks and geese. I was really tired when I got home!

I wish it was my birthday everyday...

I'll make sure the humans post new pictures soon.

Finding Friends

When I made my owner put together a Dogster profile for me, I was hoping to get the dirt on the best parks in my hometown. But only a few days after my info was pawed in, I got a pup pal invite from Akari. This may seem a completely ordinary thing to happen on this site, but we had amazing things in common:

-We are both shibas (well I'm only half but still).
-We both live in the same city.
-We both came from the same rescue and the same Foster mom (and that rescue is about 2 hours away, so it's no small feat)!
-We were both in the rescue at about the same time!

I'm so excited that Akari found me! I hope we can be great friends! I'll keep you posted. In the mean time, you can check her profile by clicking on Akari's picture in my pup pal list.
