Mia's Thoughtful Spot

Owwwwww!

Yesterday I had to go to the vet for my first surgery ever! Mommy said I got spayed. I don't know what that means, but I know that it hurts! My mommy dropped me off and I thought I was only going to be there for a short time, but then they started doing funny things to me, like poking me with this really sharp thing and making me breathe in this funny air.

The next thing I remember was waking up and I was still at the vet! But my tummy hurt really bad and my head felt all woozy so I fell back asleep. Next thing I remember was someone waking me up and telling me it was time to go home. I remember my daddy picking me up and putting me in the car but thats about it.

I got home somehow and there was mommy waiting for me. I guess I gave her a really mean look, cause thats what she's telling all her friends, but I don't remember! I was standing there getting some loving from mommy when my legs started feeling like jello and almost fell over a couple times so mommy and daddy helped me lay down. My mommy layed down on the floor with me and I went back to sleep on my flower bed in the living room.

I woke up again and it was dark outside and I had to pee really bad. Daddy took my outside so I could pee but he put my leash on me. It annoyed me a little bit but I was still so sleepy and my tummy was still hurting that I just went and peed anyway. When I came back inside Mommy tried to get me to eat but I didn't want anything cause I didn't feel good at all. So I walked over to the couch and tried to get on it but it hurt my tummy. So daddy helped me get on the couch and I slept there until it was time for daddy to go to bed.

Mommy woke me up and helped me off the couch and told me to get in my kennel. I usually know what that means but last night I couldn't figure it out. So I went into the kitchen first, but that wasn't right. So then I went into the bathroom, but that wasn't right either. Mommy and Daddy were laughing at me, I didn't think it was very funny. Daddy got my collar and helped into the bedroom and then I remembered where my kennel was. I slept all night long!

I got up with Daddy this morning when he got up to go to work and did my thing outside. My tummy still hurt and pooping didn't help. Daddy put me back in my kennel and I slept till almost noon when mommy came in and woke me up! I love when my mommy wake me up because I get all kinds of hugs and kisses! My tummy was still hurting but it was grumbling too! Then I realized I was hungry! I hadn't eaten in 30 hours! Mommy gave me some food and I saw her put a little orange pill in there. She thinks she fooled me but she didn't. I ate it too!

I feel a lot better today. Every time I go outside my mommy has been putting my leash on me and its really annoying me. I don't know why she won't just let me go outside like I usually do. I also keep bringing her my tennis ball and my giggle ball but she won't throw them! Daddy doesn't like us throwing the ball in the house but my mommy does anyway! Daddy does it too when Mommy's at work, hee hee! I'm starting to feel sleepy again but my tummys not hurting as bad. Guess I will go take a nap on the couch. Bye!
