My Tail of Devotion for Honey

Honey was born on the mean streets of Puerto Rico. She lived on scraps of food that kind people would give to her when she cautiously approached as a tiny puppy. The Save A Sato organization saw her mother, herself and her littermates being beaten with rocks and sticks by guards one day behind a dumpster and saved her. It was the first human contact she had encountered and yet she knew that these people would keep her save. She was flown from Fajardo, PR to Mass. and then to NY. She came to a place called the ASPCA. She had her own pen that she shared with one of her brothers. She looked across from her to see her other brothers and sisters were there as well. She was quiet, dirty but yet hopeful as the children walked by with their parents.. each one passing her by. Finally one day, a mother and her daughter stopped and looked at her. They both looked into her eyes and saw how sweet she was and how lovely of a little girl she was. The daughter took her out of her pen and sat on the floor with the young puppy. Instantly she ran up and licked the girls face and cuddled between the girls legs, longing to be hugged and loved and kissed. The lost little dog from Puerto Rico finally knew she had a home and someone to love her. But, there was a debate as to the name of this new member. It was settled on Honey for her golden color and her disposition that is as sweet as her namesake. Her family brought her home and the daughter gave Honey a bath. To everyones surprise, her tail puffed out with little curls descending to the floors and tuffs of fur between her toes. For the first time in her life as she layed down on a soft bed and thought as she drifted off to sleep, "I finally know that I am truly loved."

Sleep on Jess's bed and more adventures..

Well I didn't get much sleep last night. For some odd reason everyone was laying on the same big bed watching that big loud box so I decided to jump up and get some rest too. Jess kept scratching me and rubbing my tummy when I was trying to sleep. I kept having crazy dreams too! I was whimpering and running. I think I was dreaming about those dang bunnies. I gotta catch me one-a them things these days.
