Sun Sign: Quick Bio:
 Birthday: February 7th 2005
Likes: Playing with Rudy, chasing deer ( i didnt say catching, just chasing ! ) playing with small male dogs (?!?)

Pet-Peeves: Other dogs ( ahem ! ) Charlie is a bit picky on the dogs she likes to play with and if she doesnt like you..watch out !!

Favorite Toy: anything that squeaks, balls, the cat's toys.

Favorite Food: raw bones, piggie ears, cow poop, deer poop,

Favorite Walk: With Dad and Rudy in the fields looking for deer at dusk.

Best Tricks: i help mom bring the shopping in - i carry the canned stuff! i also bring Dad his slippers at night.

Arrival Story: Charlie was just about to be surrendered to the pound by our neighbours friends as they couldn't find a home for her at 4 months old. We took her in, to live with our (then) 4 cats & she has been here ever since ! At first the cats were very scarey to Charlie but soon they were good friends....we never knew about the Husky-destroys-stuff part of her personality... but a couple of cellphones & many dvd's later, Charlie learned to love being crated when we go out ! lol ! She loves digging and squeaky toys and always has at least one cuddly toy in her crate at night. Charlie is responsible for choosing Rudy from the SPCA as our 2nd dog !

Bio: Charlie's DNA test showed she was almost 100% Husky with a little GSD. " I don't howl like a Husky unless i am feeling particularly chatty. I have Husky-like blue eyes which everyone loves, i even got my mom off a ticket once because of my pretty eyes which i fluttered at the nice Police Man (!)"

i am soooo happy now it is cold. My fave passtime is to go outside on my own ( the other dogs are too afraid ) and catch snowflakes in -20
Rudy is getting cold paws & Judah wont get out of bed if its a bit on the icy side - i don't know whats wrong with them !!

well i have not put paw to paper for a while but it has been very hot & i haven't had the energy to do much really. It was 37 c on our deck today - phew - and i was the only dog out laying in the sun. Mum says i am strange as i love the cold & i LOVE the sun too !
I graduated from Agility last week & got my own certificate to put on the wall with Rudy's. It was a fun thing to do & i wish i could carry on but now it's Rudys turn to try Agility.
Maybe i might try something else next time .. i think mum would like an activity where i can stay on leash haha
Since Riley went home we have had a pug to stay called ET. He was funny & kept chasing Rudy. This weekend we have some labs to stay. Our house is always busy! anyway i have to go now as my mum is trying to go to bed & i have to get off the laptop. Huh.

Well, things are going well at agility, Mom has even trusted me enough to let me off leash a bit there....but i am part husky & prone to not listening to her much so my recall is a bit hit & miss. Mom just has to be more exciting than what ever it is i am doing, so i will run to her...she is learning that i usually come to food!!
This week we practiced the tunnel which was bent around so i couldn't see the exit when i entered..and we did more weave pole which i only dinked out of once ! We also did 3 jumps & i did them every time & didn't run off to heard the other dogs either which was very good of me.
I caught another gopher this week , Human dad was not impressed, i am not supposed to chase them or catch them.....but they are everywhere & they smell so good!!
Mom bought me some goodies from Value Village this week, the best place for dog toys! I got a new ( to me ) soccer ball & a fluffy Stitch ( from Lilo & Stitch ) who is nearly as big as me ! Also got a fluffy Pug toy who i take to bed with me ( can't get Stitch in my kennel unfortunately - i tried & there just isn't room!)
Next week we have a silly goof ball golden retriever coming to stay for a holiday. He is called Riley & is one of my Mom's clients ( she does home boarding for dogs & cats ) I have not met him yet but i hope he is lots of fun as i love playing with the dogs that stay over here.
I hope he doesn't want to share my new toys with me....hmmm.....
