Nicknames: Rollins, Little Man, Hen-Hen, Little Buddy, Henrooski
Birthday: May 6th 2006
Likes: Giving kisses, when you blow in his face so he can squirm around and try to lick the air, and playing with big sis! He also loves to lick behind peoples ears and lick wet, just out of the shower feet.
Pet-Peeves: When Annie won't share her rawhides, and random old house noises that make him bark!
Favorite Toy: Big Sis-Annie, and a teething toy bear he got for Christmas.
Favorite Food: Science Diet (adult and puppy-he likes them both!), and he's learned that when Annie gets excited because the cheese has come out of the refridgerator, that he needs to get excited too!
Favorite Walk: Around city park, he can walk a whole mile and still has energy for more!
Best Tricks: He can sit on command and look cute, and he finally calmed down enough that I could teach him to lay down! And he learned really quickly, in about 10 minutes he got it down pat!
Arrival Story: Annie told me that she wanted a brother, and a friend called and told me that they had Chorkies at a local pet store. So I went to go see him, fell in love, and convinced Henry and Annie's dad to come see him, and the rest is history. Ironically enough, I saw a friend at a wedding and was telling her about Henry, and she told me that her mom was the breeder!
Bio: Henry is a very excitable, yet, mostly calm puppy. He just kinda goes with the flow, and has a very do-do-do-d0-do kind of attitute. He loves to do whatever his big sister does, and has formed most of his traits based on her. Annie loves to steal rawhides and toys from others, so he's learned he has to be sneaky to keep up. He loves to snuggle under covers, and would prefer to be near someone and touching them at all times. He loves to sit on peoples feet, he just backs into them and plops down. He also enjoys sitting on the heaters to stay warm. He's just a little guy with a big heart, and a great addition to our family.
Well, I'm offically 1 year old today. And the weather here in Kansas is not quite cooperating with me for my birthday. It's raining and thundering, and it's been doing that for almost 6 days now, and might do it for another 4 more! I just want to run around outside and chase the squirrels with my older sister, but it's too rainy and muddy for that. But I am having a birthday party this weekend (a combo one with my sister, since her birthday's the 17th), and the forcast says that it should be sunny and nice for that, so hopefully it will. But I just wanted to day hello to all and let everyone know that I really am a big boy now, I made it to 5 whole lbs when I was at the vet last week! But he told me that I probably shouldn't get any bigger. But I'm still big enough to give Annie a hard time, so that's all the matters! Talk to you all soon! Love you guys! -Henry
Happy New Year Dogster! I think it's going to be a great one. This year, well what I was alive for was pretty cool. I got a great new family, which includes my awesome sister Annie, I found out about licking behind peoples ears, as well as, licking their wet feet when they get out of the shower, and yesturday I leaned about snow! Yes, there is the wonderful thing called snow!
Mom and Dad let me out yesturday morning and there was this weird white stuff on the ground that was cold and a little wet. But I looked around and when it was all over, and I sniffed it, it kinda smelled like ice, and I love ice! So I just started eating it and it even tastes like ice! I was wonderful! And then I ran around in it for awhile with my sister, but then I looked up and it was falling from the sky too! So I started chasing all the flakes that were falling from the sky, and trying to catch them in my mouth. It was so fun! I even got a little snow stuck on my nose, boy was it cold! Then mom and dad asked me to go potty, since that is what we were out there to do, but that was kinda hard to do with all the destactions, but I finally went. Then after while I got too cold, I still only weigh 4.375 lbs, so we went inside. But mom took some pictures of me in the snow, and couple videos too, so you all can check those out on my page.
Now for my New Year's resolution. I think I'm gonna try to only poop outside for my resolution. I've been doing really well for the past three days, and I keep getting more of these yogurt treats that I love when I do it, so I think I'm gonna try and make that my resolution for this year. I've been doing really good about pottying outside, but pooping has been trouble for me. Sometimes I just have to go! But I'm doing my best, so we'll see how it goes!
Well, hope you all have a great 2007 and that your 2006 was as great as mine! Love you all! -Henry
Hello All! Sorry it's been awhile since I last wrote, I've been busy being a puppy. Guess what!? I weigh almost 3.25 pounds now! I've gained about 2 lbs since I've came home. Mom says that's good, but that I need to keep growing. My teeth have been hurting me lately too, and one even came out! But mom says that that's normal, and it'll grow back.
Also, mom and dad have been laughing at me lately. Evidently I'm really funny even though I don't mean to be. Last night, I was in the kitchen and I looked at the oven and guess what I saw!? Another puppy that looked just like me! So I got really excited and started wagging my tail, but the other puppy wasn't coming over! So I decided I was gonna go find him. So I walked around to the other side of the oven and there was no puppy there! Then I turned around and mom and dad were just staring at me and giggling. I don't know what was so funny.
Then today, Annie and me were playing and she was in her house and wouldn't let me eat her food with her so I got her back! I shut her in her kennel! I stood up, put my front two paws on the door and used all my might to hold her hostage in her kennel so she couldn't get out. She started barking and mom came over and once again started laughing at me and told me that I was funny. She let Annie out, so she ruined my game of hostage. Oh well.
Anyway, so far I'm having a great time being a younger brother, and I've discovered a few great things in life... ears and noses. They are the most wonderful things in the world to lick! I highly recommend them if you get the chance. Ok, y'all. I'll talk to you all soon! Love-Henry
