Akira and I played tug of war for the first time ever. Usually we are too busy stealing the toys from each other to think of actually playing together, but it was pretty fun. Even though Sis tried to help me win once, Akira still won cause he's super strong, and has a vulcan death grip for that green ring we were playing with. Finally I gave up, and just jumped on him to make him drop the green ring! aha! oh well, it was fun while it lasted.

Sis says that Toads are the "bane of my existence." I'm not sure what that means, but they are definitely a pain in my neck! From the fenced in part of the backyard where I can run around without my lease, I can smell those darned toads. They live in the window well not three feet away from me! I can't see them, but I know they are there. One time, one got pretty close to the fence, and I stuck my paw under there and dragged him in! Then I put him in my mouth, and do you know what happened? He tasted so awful I had to drop him out and then he left behind all this foam and I kept shaking my head to get it out. Sissy thought I looked like a crazy rabbid dog because the foam was flying everywhere! She was so scared for me, but I just had one thing on my mind. The toad. I had him cornered again, but Sis caught him first. She thought I'd killed him so she threw him over the fence. I kept my eye on him while she went around to take care of him, and he rolled over from his back to his stomach! I kept barking to warn her to be careful, and then he starting hopping! She carried him to the edge of the woods, and wasn't sure what to do. She didn't think my vets takes care of amphibians, but he seemed to be doing okay. She set him down and he hopped away. Foiled again! I think he came back, though. I know there are at least two toads in that window well-- maybe even more!
