This is all about how I got my new home. Well I was found by these people who brought me to this building and put me in a cage. They called me a stray. I didn't like it in there. Soon after, some people adopted me and took me to their home. They weren't very nice to me and they scared me. I used to bark when I was in the backyard because there were kids always teasing me. No one played with me and looked after me. About a month later, they brought me back to the building and put me in another cage. One Sunday, I was sitting in my cage, looking my best and watching the people go by. Then I saw this lady (my mom) and a man (my dad) walk by. They stopped and petted me and said I was a good boy. The lady told the man that she liked me and if I was there the next week, that she wanted to take me home. Well the next day, someone else took me to their home. OH NO! Well, they didn't like me for some reason and took me back after five days. I was so sad. Would I ever find a home? Well that Sunday, I smelled someone familiar. It was that lady and that man!! They took my paper from my cage and left the kennel area. Would they come back??? Next thing I new, the volunteer that worked at the humane society (where I was staying) put a leash on me and brought me to this weird room. I was scared. But then I saw them!!! It was the lady and the man that took the paper. They wanted to meet me. I wagged my tail and gave them kisses and hugs. They gave me kisses and hugs too!!! AND they brought me home. When I first got home, I was scared. I wouldn' jump on the couch or the bed, because where I used to live, they would yell at me. Mom finally convinced me that it was ok and now I sleep in her bed every night. Mom played with me every day, she brushed me and she never ever yelled. Dad came and visited lots too. They showed me that they loved me and wouldn't ever hurt me. I love them soo much and I'm glad that they are my forever family!!
