Kelowna LOVES doggy day care and Allison! He attended a golden Retriever picnic and had a blast running with his buddies and playing in the pond and mud (mostly mud). His best friend is Teddy, a 5 year old golden. They have sleepovers and parties.

Favorite Toy:
My favortie toy used to be the rope and ball, but I ate the ball. Oops. I think my new favorite toys are snowballs. They're great!

Favorite Food:
It's pretty hard to tell what his favorite food is - he gobbles down everything from old gum and tissues, to yogurt and peanut butter. Halloween will be his favorite holiday in future - lots of great treats on the ground from the kiddies!

Favorite Walk:
Next to the river

Best Tricks:
We're working on this one.

The Story of a Little Grizzly (Kelowna)

Merry Christmas!

Woof! I'm pretty excited about Christmas. We have lots of snow to play in, and lots of people and dog friends will be coming soon. I've been playing keep away with my dad in the back yard - he's pretty easy to trick. Maybe my friend Teddy and I can fool his dad, too.
Happy New Year!

Hi everybody!

My mom and dad thought I looked like a little bear when we first met, so they named me Kelowna. It means "little grizzly". I was the littlest boy in my family of 11 brothers and sisters. Boy, did we have fun! I'm a big boy now, and here's what I like: rolling in deer poop, doggie day care (this is the best!), snuggling in bed with my mom and dad, and meeting new people. I get lots of pets and kisses when we go for walks (yes!). This will be my first winter of skiing. I don't know if I'll be able to ski, but I think I can help mom carry the picnic basket. I know I can help mom empty the picnic basket!
