The time as come, she's old enough, had her first season, it's time for her to get spayed due to health reasons. She has a hernia. I'm not looking forward to it, i hate operations, i don't want to leave her. But these things have to be done. Maggie won't care, she's the kind of dog that'll go to anyone and won't mind being left at the vets. However, i think she will the following day. When it's time to come home and she's there dressed in one of those awful head collars. :(

My poor baby had to go back to the vets on Tuesday for her booster
vacine. On the whole things went well and I can honestly say in all my
years I've never seen a puppy look quite so happy to be there even after
what she went through last time with her initial vacine. Her tail never
stopped wagging, she loved greeting all the other dogs and even still
when we were called in she was happy to see the vet and her nurse.
That was until the injection itself came- I decided to get her
microchipped at the same time. For her vacine she was fine but then for
the chip she screamed like I've never heard a puppy scream before, and
it wasn't suprising - the needle was HUGE! I felt for her so much and
even at home she'd yell out if you stroked her wrong or if she rolled on
her back or something. Even now she has a wound where it went. Didn't
like the vet though, she was rushing people in and out. Very ignorant,
and we had to wait 35 minutes to be seen.

Maggie saw the vet for the first time last tuesday for a routine vacine. It was her second one, but she had start treatment again. Something to do with the vet not having the right booster for the previous one her breeder had given her.
I must say, for a puppy she was a little angel and as usual everyone fell in love with the little baby that came through the door. How could she resist the attention? Tail wagging, wag, wag, wag.
Until the injection came, she screamed the place down! But was very forgiving afterwards.
