Quick Bio:

Likes:
Playing fetch with his football, stealing human food when no one's looking, going for car rides, jumping on the trampoline, playing with his humans, playing in the sprinkler, getting attention, licking people a lot, chasing his own back feet.

Pet-Peeves:
Let's see...helicopters, airplanes, blimps, large birds, anything flying or hovering overhead. He also hates the weed-eater, obedience training, other dogs trying to wrestle with him. Bandit strongly dislikes pooping anywhere other than his own yard.

Favorite Toy:
The Amazing Re-inflating Football. It has a huge hole in it but magically seems to come back to life after play sessions.

Favorite Food:
Anything he's not supposed to have, especially cat poop...

Favorite Walk:
At the marina, around the block, anywhere really.

Best Tricks:
Still working on "playing dead."

Arrival Story:
When Bandit was a puppy, he was given as a gift to my 7-year old nephew. I thought that was a bad idea from the start but didn't want to cause trouble in the family so I just kept an eye on him from afar to make sure he was taken care of. He eventually ended up in the back yard, tied to a deck post, forgotten. It was sad to see. I decided that I would secretly feed him and train him and rescue him when I could. I got news one day that Bandit had broke his chain and ran away. I told the family that I would find him. I searched the nearby shelters for 2 days until he finally turned up at Hayward Animal Control. They informed me it would cost $100 to get him out. I immediately called his family to ask for the money and they refused. "Leave him there. We're better off," they said. So I did the only thing imaginable. I paid the money and took him home.
