My Tail of Devotion for Abby

Abby was one of the sweetes but hardest dogs to handle.
I loved her so much. I had her for about a year before she passed away. I nearly cried for 2 weeks. She loved to play and cuddle with the cats and loved to follow me around where ever I went.
Abby was hit by a car in June of 2005. I moved into a new house. The previous owner was suppost to leave the dog run but did not and the fence latch was broken. Since Abby was so destructive we would chain her outside for a few hours while no one was here. We were chaining her untill we got the latch fixed. It was probably like the 3rd day we were here and while we were gone someone came into my back yard and let her of her leash. I think it was someone who just wanted to play with her and since she was sooooooooo big and hyper they couldn't handle her. Anyway when I got home she was gone no where to be found. I searched all night posting flyers but when I went to the shelter the next day to look for her and post a flyer they told me that she had been hit and passed away.
Needles to say I am paronoid about my dogs now and they do not stay out for more then 30 min or so unless I am out there. Thankfuly they are not nearly as destructive as Abby and they don't break out out of there cage so it is soooo much easier.

I miss Abby so much. It's hard to think about sometimes cause I want to start crying.
Rest in Peace Abby and I can't wait to see you on the other side
