Arrival Story:
My mother-in-law's dog was pregnant and we didn't even know it, she had a male and female. I had the female first, someone stole her. Then she gave me the male, because she didn't have time for him and he was sick. I was pregnant with my little girl when he was born. They are 5 months apart.

Bio:
When my daughter was born, Dusty was like her "guardian", he would stay by her, and if anyone walked in the house and did not make themself very clearly known, Dusty would let them know not to come near the baby. It was so cute. Now that he is getting older, he is grouchy and don't want to be bothered much. He is very much loved. ................................. 07-26-09 When I fed Dusty last night I noticed he was not acting right. I said somethings not right with Dusty. So today when I got up, I went to check on Dusty.... Unfortunately, he had crossed rainbow bridge... Of course, I am upset, but Dusty was old, he already lost ALL of his teeth and the vet told me about 6 years ago that he had heartworms. However, Dusty was not thin, he did eat and he did not act sickly like Lucky did the days before he passed. I know he is in a better place, but he will always be in our hearts. I have not told my daughter yet that Dusty has passed, I know she will be upset.
