Arrival Story:
Coffee was one of two Lhasa puppies in a pet store bin that myself, my brother and our mom passed by in a mall one Christmas (I now understand the evils of pet stores and will only adopt) . We couldn't resist and brought her home much to dad's "amusement."

Bio:
Coffee was the best dog I ever had the pleasure of raising. She was the first baby that I have had to make the decision to put to sleep and hopefully the last for a long, long time. She was 16 when we had to let her go. Coffee was accidentally injured when we took in a stray dog and never recovered ( I believe the guilt will stay with me forever). Long story short: the "stray" wasn't really stray and only lived a few houses down from us. She was able to get out of her yard by jumping the wall, which her owner was well aware she was capable of doing, and didn't care to try and prevent it . Her owner then abandoned her and moved to Chicago. The "stray" is now in a good home. Not a bad dog, but a very bad owner. Here's the message...PLEASE BE RESPONSIBLE PET OWNERS AND BE CONSIDERATE TO YOUR NEIGHBORS! Take care of your pets, they depend on you!
