Arrival Story:
We decided we wanted a dog and went online to the Humane Society. All the dogs we were able to see couldn't be around kids or other animals and we wanted a friendlier dog so we kept looking on different sites. We found a cute dog named "Star" on one site and called the contact at Companion Animal Rescue. Star was already adopted but, Jennifer said she had two puppies that, because of their ages, would be good with kids and animals. We met her that Saturday at the dog park in the Grove and met Bailey and Nina. They were both distracted by the other dogs but, both were adorable. When we called Nina she didn't pay attention. We called Bailey and he came running, let us pet him for 2 seconds and then took off. It was a hard choice without having quality time with them both but, since he listened to us we followed are gut and chose Bailey. We've had him since Jan 04 and he's been such a great companion and hilarious with the things he tries to get away with! He's healthy and happy and we couldn't be happier with any other choice!
