Arrival Story:
My husband and I were celebrating our honeymoon in the Turks & Caicos islands and had heard about adopting "Potcakes" (which is what they call the stray island dogs) through the TCSPCA. We called to find out more when our diving was cancelled and before we knew it, there was someone coming to pick us up from our hotel to check out their puppies. A few hours later, arrangements were made for us to bring Provo back to the US with us. The TCSPCA provided us with a duffle bag carrier so Provo could be taken as carry-on. Cutoms was a breeze since we had been given the proper documents.

Bio:
Provo's name comes from the Caicos island he's from - Providenciales. Locals call the island "Provo" for short. So nope, we're not that in love with Utah. :) Provo also lives with a tolerant cat named Niki. At first, he wasn't too thrilled about his owners being gone for 2 weeks and then coming home with a puppy but now Nikki tolerates Provo.

Tag! I'm IT!

My pal Lucy tagged me!

So here are the rules:

If you get tagged, you have to list 7 facts about yourself. Then, you will list 7 dogs you will tag and give them a paw mail or rossette telling them that they have been tagged!

Facts:

1. I absolutely will do anything for cheese. That includes not barking at the doorbell.
2. I only will play fetch if the ball is thrown a distance to my liking. Otherwise, I will run after the ball and not pick it up.
3. Squirrels are my sworn enemy and it is my duty to chase them (even if Mom is not awake enough to keep up with me).
4. Even though I can sleep in my crate quite comfortably, I prefer to stretch out across the king-sized bed my parents sleep on and push them off.
5. My favorite thing to play with is a lime. Yes, a lime. I like to throw them and chase after them.
6. I love, love, love agility. On nights when we have class, I'll run to the front door and whine at Mom while she's putting on her shoes. She really takes forever to do that.
7. Even though I was only on my island for 8 weeks, I am totally solar-powered and hate the rain.

I will tag...

1. Kinsley 379526
2. Zima 74468
3. Remo the Red 106064
4. Kiki 248286
5. Lucy 174247
6. Mookie & Sam 312766
7. Lennon, CGC 312578

I love Agility!!!!!

Tonight was the last class of my second session of Agility. Oh how I love it! I get to run as fast as I can (well at least as fast as I can when I'm not jumping over stuff). Sometimes, Mom can keep up which is nice but I don't care if she does. She shows me the course before we start so I kind of know where we're going. :)

Anyhow, I hope I get to keep doing this Agility thing. Since I live in the city, I don't get to run around off leash too often (except at day care and when I go to Sam's house). Plus, I get hot dogs!

Cold Monday

So Sunday started happy - Mom and Dad were smiling and laughing as they put on their jerseys - but it ended very sadly. I don't know what happened but they were very quiet when they came home. I heard Dad say something about resisting the urge to blame Grossman (I didn't see the game but something tells me he didn't play very well). I don't think the Bears won either because neither one of them wore Bears stuff to work today.

On top of that, it is just too too cold to go outside. I don't even want to do my business outside. It's so cold Mom makes me wear my coat (I still refuse to wear my booties though). I don't know how I feel about this whole winter thing. The snow part is nice but this freezing thing is not okay.

P.S. I think the cat is a Colts fan though because he's been scampering all over the house and meowing incessantly today. I should have known...
