LIFE OF A LOVEABLE, CUDDLY DOG NAMED BEAR

New puppies !

Bear had 6 puppies. 3 traditional black/white, and 3 brindle, like her, only darker we think. Hard to tell on that ! They look solid black when born, but the brindle comes in as they get older ...
We kept two for ourselves (can't resist the cute little rascals !) Winston Churchill (m), because he looks like an English Bulldog due to his jowls. and Abby (f). Puppies were born right on time, and healthy too !
We hope to take them to the Boston Terrier get-together at Shelby Farms this month, weather and busy-ness permitting. We and our 4 boston terrier puppies enjoy getting together with the other bt owners and their puppies. ... dogpile on whoever dares get low enough for them to jump on and 'kiss' !

Excitedly awaiting birth of NEW PUPPIES !

Bear is GRANDLY pregnant! If her photo turns out, we'll post it to show exactly how very pregnant she is. Ha! The father of her puppies being a skalliwag, is dis-inclined to paying puppy-support ! Bear is nonchalant about the fact, and I think a bit tired of being pregnant. The puppies are due about the 28th of July if we were able to caculate right ... My wife will be extremely tempted to keep at least one of the little 'rats' (No disparagement intended towards them at all - consider it a 'term of endearment' !) When they're born, we'll post a photo of momma and all her babies, so everyone else can see how cute they are too ! - Stay posted, and we'll keep you up to date on the latest news!
... that's all for today. Time to feed the little 'pig' some fresh roasted salmon ! [Umm, YUM !].
