Arrival Story:
She was a breeder mom and had just miscarried/stillborns so the breeders didn't see her as having any value. She was in sad shape when I got her - poor health, very underweight, and terrified of humans. She had a bad delivery and had bathroom issues for a while (I had to wipe her every time). She had never been a house pet so I got to teach her a lot of things at age two. They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks - well, you can. It's just really, really hard! She joined her best friend Babe and I two years ago and we are all happy together. She went from under 11 pounds when I got her and is a whopping 13.5 pounds now.
