Wow-wie!

No fun.

My front paw has been hurting for a while now, but it should be better soon. Mom kept trying to look at it, and clip my nails because the groomers haven't been doing it when I go (although they were supposed to). Today she took me to see Dr. Dittrich, a new vet for me. He was very nice and explained everything that he was going to do for me, and Mom didn't faint when they told her the total bill! Apparently one of my nails on my front left paw had broken and that's what was hurting. So today they cut it way back, and now I have a little red bandage on my foot. I've got some antibiotics to take too, but my best friend, Katie, is visiting this weekend. She spent the night last night, and is staying again tonight. We had a slumber party on the comforter on the floor last night, and no boys allowed, so Rufus didn't get to come. This typing is making me sleepy, so I'll go for now!

Finally

It's been a little while since I've had a bath, and my mom gave me one this morning, which was great because I was burning up! I had to come out from my favorite hiding place, under the bed, to do it, and while it was happening, I didn't really care for it, but after it was over.... I felt so great! So good in fact, that I had the sudden urge to quickly re-arrange all the rugs in the entire house, and remove all the pillows from the couch. And for breakfast this morning, mom whipped up some of my favorite food... mashed sweet potatoes, and mixed it into my dry food! YUMMY! It's nearly my bedtime, so I guess I better go!

First Day

After only joining Dogster today, I've already made new friends! Even friends from all over the country! I've never been further than Memphis, so this is exciting! My owners have been all over the world, but I didn't get to go. I like sniffing their bags and luggage when they returned though, that was as good as getting to go, and without the jetlag! It's sunny and really hot here in Texas today, so I think I'll keep inside and enjoy the cool a/c, while my mom messes with the computer. I'm hoping that my friend Katie will be coming over sometime, but she might not make it over to my house this weekend. Oh well! I guess I'll just work on that nap.
