Arrival Story:
My mom found her when I was about 2 years old. She was being beaten by a man that lived not too far from us so we took her in.

Bio:
When we got Maggie she had severe heart worms, but we got her through it. She was my grow-up dog. Before she passed I don't remember life without her. She loved to be around kids. I ran a lot of HIGH fevers when I was little and whenever I was sick she would lay above my head as if to protect me. Sometimes when I feel really sick I can feel her lay above my head. One of her favorite things to do was to "chew our fleas". Simply all she did was nibble on our hair, it was her sign of affection. My mom had thought about breeding her so she didn't get her spayed right away. She ended up not breeding her because she couldn't bare to give away the cute puppies. Shortly after we moved to Utah we found out that she had breast cancer and we had to have her pts because of the pain she was in. She was such a loyal wonderful dog.
