Likes:
The pool, car rides, company, going outside, going camping with Mommy and Daddy, my kitty-sister (even though she hates me!) When Gamma comes to visit (she brings me new toys!) Wrestling with Daddy!

Pet-Peeves:
Not being allowed to jump on people, when Mom makes pork because she doesn't give me any (it gives me gas.) Getting kicked off the bed, being left home, pointing your finger at me and telling me NO!

Favorite Toy:
My big basketball, my squeaky toys, anything I can de-fuzz or de-squeak, my kitty-sister.

Favorite Food:
Chicken, steak, pig ears, hot dogs, cheese, popcorn, jello with whip cream, popsicles, anything Mommy and Daddy eats. Oh yeah, sticks and sand too!

Favorite Walk:
The beach, park, pet stores, around the neighborhood...my favorite RUN is in the desert!

Best Tricks:
I sit, lay down, shake, stay, jump up, fetch toys, catch toys, helicopter twisty jumps and blow bubbles when my Daddy eats ice-cream.

Arrival Story:
We got Carley from a breeder when she was 8 weeks old. We had first pick of the litter and although they were all adorable, we chose her immediately. She's owned us ever since!

Bio:
We lost our sweet Carley on April 22, 2006 after only 2-1/2 years. We were camping in the desert and she was bitten by a Mojave Green Rattlesnake in our campsite. She was next to her Daddy when it happened and we believe that she probably saved his life. Camping in the desert was one of Carley's very favorite things to do. When we would pull off the highway onto the dirt road, she would always stand up in the truck and start squealing and whining. Carley was a very special dog that we loved and who loved us very, very much. We miss her more than words can express and we will always remember her. She is our hero. Mommy and Daddy will see you at the bridge, sweet baby.

My Tail of Devotion for Carley

Carley Girl,

It's been a little over 2 months since you've been gone but we think about you all the time. We have little Molley now and she's quite a handfull. We try to use everything you taught us to teach her how to be a good girl. We went and got the trailer today to prepare it for a camping trip. Although you loved the camping trips so much and we wanted to share the experience with Molley, it was hard not to think about that last trip with you. Remember those camping trip pictures of you we had on the walls in the trailer? We took those down. They were too painful to look at. We still have your pictures around the house though and they're not going anywhere. Guess it's because they're not camping pictures and you are (were) such a beautiful and good girl. We want you to know that even though the camping pictures came down, we still think about you all the time. You will always be our special one. We miss you and love you very much. We know you are running and playing with all the other doggies in Heaven. We will love you always, sweet baby!
