She got him from a breeder already an adult. He did his job well but also was an escape artist and drove her crazy any time a girl in the neighborhood was in heat. Plus he had to much fur and it got really gross and matted. So when our beagle/westie mix Snickers died she offered to give him to us. I was only 5 but I can still remember the day he was brought home. Bio: Lamar lived to be 18 years old. He died September 14, 2005 after a long and happy life. Please spay and neuter your pets. Lamar is proof that not every dog because they have a friendly attitude or because they are just so cute should be bred. Lamar had so many health problems due to very bad breeding. He lost his hearing and site at a young age, had major back problems as well as HD, heart problems and a ton of different stuff.
