Anything Mom is eating...or she just loves burgers.
Favorite Walk:
anywhere anytime she's ready...but she likes to walk down the block to visit her doggie friends and any of the local children she can lick along the way..down to the woods by the deer (she thinks they are just very big dogs).
Arrival Story:
This is a little hard but ok. I wasn't looking for another dog..I had Tigger, a 14 yr old mixed terrier, who was just my whole world. Then a friend who had gotten Casey from a shelter couldn't keep her, things just weren't working out, but she would only give her up if I would take her....so I said..well you know I don't normally go for the small dog, but if Tigger likes her..it's ok by me.
Well Tigger and Casey just seemed to love each other right from first sniff...there was no way for me to know..we would only have 3 weeks together, before Tigger would suddenly have a terrible seizure and leave us.
Somehow, God just knew I would need Casey...and so there she was this little bundle of joy and energy, I think of her as my little angel..I don't know how I would have gotten through loosing Tigger without her there to comfort me with her litttle nuzzles and licks..she kept me going.
And now, I can't ever imagine my life without her.
So that's our story...it still makes me cry each time I tell it, and it also reminds me that there is a much bigger plan out there...and that things happen for very good reasons....miracles happen all the time...we just call them other things.

I just wanted to stop by and wish everyone Happy Howlidays. Mom says I've been very good because I'm a good girl..I think that will translate into some excellent Christmas goodies...I can't wait for Santa!!!!

Mmkay, here is how it ("Tag") works.

~~~~~~Here are 7 facts 'bout Casey~~~~~~
1 - I love to sleep...anywhere..anytime...ohhh and I LOVE to chase squirrels...Mom doesn't much appreciate it though since she's at the other end of the leash...but hey a girl has to do what a girl has to do!
2 - I love to go with Mom to visit /vacation with her friends..new places I've made myself at home include Aunt Edie's new place in Nanuet.
3 - My bestest friend lives down the block her name is Raven and she's a black lab...she thinks she's bigger then me..but we both know I'm in charge.
4 - My very favorite treat (and yes I'm pretty fussy about them) is Waggin Train Brand Chicken Tenders..Mom hunts for..I mean gets them at Costco.
5 - I love to lay in the sun...the vet won't let me do it naked..but sometimes every now and then Mom will let me slip out for a few minutes of "naked time"..whoo hoo!
6 - I have a new thing - Mom got it with a gift certificate from Uncle Ed and Aunt Mary (hey wait a minute I haven't visited them and my cousin Murphy since Thankgsgiving..what's that about)..oh back to the new thing...Mom calls it a stroller..me..I'm not quite sure what to make of it.
7 - I just got some new summer shirts..yellow golf shirt, pink tank top, and another lavender t-shirt (Mom says my old one was getty ratty...what is ratty?).
