A day on the Farm with Sadie Mae

Back on track

Hi every pup and families,

So Sorry it has taken mom so long to update. We have been pretty busy and on the mend. I had my mylogram and they advise against any surgery right now and I have been doing pretty good as long as I don't go all out. Mom says I have good and bad days but more good than bad. She won't even let me chase a ground squirrel. If I try to then I am stuck on a leash when I go to potty and stroll so I figured I just better give up my attack mode and she lets me walk around with her and my sis and bro.

My big brother Pedro had to have surgery on his right rear leg. A tumor formed and grew really quick and was bothering his leg joint. ( they did not think it had anything to do with his cancer) just thought it was an aggressive fatty tumor but it turned out to be melanoma (spelling?) That was 2 weeks ago and he is on the mend. As a matter of fact, he is eating much better and is abusing my favorite pillows. I tried to talk to mom about that but since he had surgery it seems like he gets to lay any ole place he wants too and it sorta peeves me off.

We really want to thank all of our friends and pals on dogster. We are so grateful for all of the prayers, well wishes and love.

p.s. Oh yea, Skeeter is still a little terror but one little growl from me puts him right back in line. LOL

getting better

Hi to all my pals.

Mom broke her foot. Chasing me around I guess. It is much better. Dad had heart cath and now has 7 stents, and he is doing great. No heart attack and no damage. The big man is really good to us. I am still having alot of problems with my back. I take steroids and muscle relaxers and pain pills but seem to be getting a little better. I have to get much better by next tuesday or I will have to have a mylogram and possible surgery, Mom has me in a 4 x 4 wooden play pen and it really ticks me off but I seem to feel better if I don't do to much. Pedro is almost 14 and his problem is not putting him in any pain and he is acting like a little boy again, Pretty hard chore for a big ole guy but we will let him do what he needs and are not going to worry about his problem unless it becomes a neccessary thing.

I just want to thank all of the wonderful friends and buddies we have on dogster. You guys and gals are the best. God bless you and yours and thank you so much for your prayers and best wishes.

P.S. Skeeter is just being the little devil he always is during all of our turmoil. hahaha

You are all great. Momma is taking me here in a little while to the specialist. Sorta lost a little bit of my hind quarters today. I will be fine.(momma says) Daddy is good and mom is just accident prone haha Me I need some doctors to help. I love you all and will let ya know what is going on really soon. Please forgive momma cause she just don't know what to do sometimes. God Bless all .
