I got my first pumpkin today!

This Halloween will be the first Halloween that I will celebrate with my awesome family and they bought be a pumpkin! I have never seen a pumpkin before and when mommy and daddy brought it home I was very curious as to what to make of this huge orange thing. Daddy wouldn't let me see it on the floor, he thought I might bite into it but I have been periodically going to stare at it on thew counter. I can't wait for them to carve a cool picture into it and to celebrate Halloween!

1st time at the dog park!

Mommy and daddy took Tucker and me to the dog park for the first time ever yesterday! We had so much fun! I got to meet tons of new friends and I ran and ran and I didn't stop until Daddy said it was time to go because the doggie park closes at dusk. I met big dogs and little dogs and lots of super nice people! Some nice ladies kept giving me treats. Daddy said we should make at least two days a week where we always go to the park... I am SO excited! :)

Dirty Dog Wash!

At Mounds Pet Food Warehouse my mommy's favorite radio people and the shelter at which I adopted my mom, dad, and brother were having a Dirty Dog Wash and I got to go! My brother (Tucker) didn't get to go because he is very protective of me when we are around other doggies. At the Dog Wash I got my nails trimmed and I got a bath too! They gave me cookies and kisses and lots of people told me how beautiful I am! Even though I really hate water, I behaved like an angel because mommy told me it was for a good cause. All of the money goes to the shelter where my family and I found each other so I knew I had to be good so I could come back next year! I met lots of other doggies and some of them had dirty ears so I made sure to clean them. When I was all clean and my nails were clipped, mommy brought me into the store and bought me a new bone. We got one for Tucker too so he wouldn't feel left out. We had a super fun day!

I went to PetCO today!

Mommy took me to PetCo today to get a harness cause collars make the sensitive skin on my neck all red and raw and it is very painful. Mommy and I wanted one with paws on it but daddy said I am too tough looking for paws so I got a plain black one, but I like it just fine. Also, since I chewed through my leash while it was hanging on the hook in the kitchen, mommy got me a new leash that would take me a very long time to chew if I ever got a hold of it alone.

At PetCo there were lots of other pups I wanted to play with but mommy kept making me sit so she could find the right size harness. I met another pittie named Kasha and she was only 4 months old. We sniffed each other a little bit and then gave each other huge pittie kisses over and over on each other's faces; it was so much fun. Then, I met two Shiba Inu's and I tried saying hi to them but they barked at me and I got scared and leaned on mommy. I saw some other people there who told mommy that I am very pretty and then when they asked what kind of pup I am and mommy said pitbull, they backed away from me but then mommy told them that I am very gentle and I love to give kisses and some of them pet me and I kissed them and showed them what a lover I am. Some people believe too much of what they hear about pitties.

The nice man who works at the store gave me two whole treats when I was leaving and I made a big crumbly mess on the floor with them. It was a fun trip!

i went to the vet today

Tucker and I went to the vet today for some shots and stuff. Mommy and daddy think my collar is rubbing my neck and making it hurt so they asked what they should do and I am going to get a harness tomorrow, how cool is that? I hate shots but I didn't cry this time like I did last time and they gave me a treat and I made a mess of crumbs all over the floor with it. We took a fun ride in the car to get daddy some lunch and I saw some kids running around in a yard near by that I really really wanted to play with but mommy said we were on a very busy street and I could get hurt so I couldn't get out and play with them. Now I am going to take a nap on the couch; the vet makes me tired.

New here and lovin' it!

I am new to the dogter pages and I already have so many wonderful friends! I got a new collar with Hawaiian flowers w/ it and I love it! My last collar was from the Humane Society and it made me itch so my mommy and daddy bought me a new one! I have a brother named Tucker and he has a dogster page too- you should check it out!
