Everything is a toy to him! Though, he especially loves things that squeak! Bones are also an obsession!

Biljak. Though he's supposed to only eat his puppy food, he loves anything edible! The top foods on his list are especially cheese, bread and oatmeal.
Favorite Walk:
He loves to run around on the fenced in deck. Outside he find all sorts of things to do! Out there he can also play in his pool!
Best Tricks:
He learned how to jump his child gate! While this can be a bad thing, it's so cute to watch! He can also climb stairs very well and plays fetch.
Arrival Story:
Chase came to us by a miracle. When he was only a few days old, his mother became sick with pneumonia and passed away. His breeder, also my boss, asked us if we ever wanted to help watch him for a bit (aka: Take him home), we could. My mom and I did, but after a day had to take the little rascal back. Though our first encounter was short, it was a very loving one..And I fell for the little puppy. For my birthday (the same month) my mom surprised me with him. He was named Chase, after his champion Pekingese father. Now he is my pride, joy and best friend.
Bio:
Chaseter has VERY short little legs! This is usually the first thing people notice about him. Although he tends to be vertically challenged, he is the toughest and strongest dog in our family! Nothing EVER stops him! For instance, he can climb (It's more like wobble) over his puppy gate. That alone proves his strength! He also loves toys. Never before have I seen a dog that loves to play as much as he does. No matter what time or hour, he has a stuffed animal by his side.

Wow! It's been forever since Chase and I have updated this thing! While a lot of stuff has happened lately, I feel the need to mention one thing- Chase had to undergo surgery several weeks ago. During June, we both went through a traumatic experience when Chase's right eye popped out. Anyone with Pekingese should know that their buggy eyes can be a problem, but I never thought it would happen to us.
So, to make sure it would never happen again, he had surgery that resulted in the vet stitching up the sides of his eyes. This helped his eyes in making them smaller and will prevent anything from happening again.
Chase did amazingly well during the surgery and had no problems or complications. I'm so proud of him for being such a good boy!

Guess who's having his second birthday today?
CHASE!!
My little boy is growing up so fast!! It seems like just yesterday that Chase was a 5 oz. puppy. Now he's all grown up and becoming a man! And yes. I'm fully aware that nothing screams manly like his nasty skunk toy... :)

Yesterday was my birthday! Mom explained to me that I'm a year old. I guess that makes me a big boy now! But am I really that old? It seems like this past year went by so quickly!
Either way, I love presents! They make me so happy! I sure do hope I get more sometime soon! That and cake. Mmm!
