Arrival Story: I was picked up by the animal shelter a few years ago. Apparently they don't like it when dogs run aimlessly - they must not have known that I am a free spirit and love to wander. Anyway, after being in the shelter for a few MONTHS, I was featured on a local t.v. show. I was very important! Who knew that I would become so popular? I guess there were a lot of people who called about me that day, but fortunately my mommy was the first one to come see me. We played outside together - she kept throwing this green bouncy thing and telling me to go "fetch", hmmm, I still have no idea what that means. So, in order to test her and make sure she was a true dog person, I rolled over and waited for her to make her move. Well, let me tell you, I have never had such a good belly run in my life! Mommy took me home that day, we've been inseperable since.
Bio: I had been an only dog for about a year when my Uncle's dog (Angel)came to stay with us for a few months. She was twice my size, but I didn't care! We became best buddies. After she left, I was heart broken. I thought if I stared at the front door, long enough, Mommy would get the idea and go get Angel back. No luck. So, after about a month of my funk, Mommy decided I needed a sister. Enter, Izzy. She is such fun! Izzy has taught me all kinds of tricks like eating trash, digging in the yard, and barking at her invisible friends. I love Izzy, although it wouldn't kill her to share her food with me once in awhile.

Mommy and The Man went to a Psychic Fair yesterday. More for poops and giggles, than anything else. But, they did have psychics, clairvoyants, etc. available for readings.
Mommy decided to take a chance and book a session with one of the psychics. She wanted to check on me.
Yeah. Almost 2 years since I left for the Bridge and she still worries about me.
The psychic asked her what info she needed. She quickly told him that I had died 2 years ago and she wanted to make sure I was okay.
Psychic Man quickly told her that dogs are re-incarnated almost immediately.
He said this as if she should be comforted by this idea. Almost as if this was the answer to all her problems.
He was ready to move on. Mommy was not.
She thought about it....
Would the idea of me being re-incarnated ease her sadness??
Actually.... no.
Is that weird?
If I was re-incarnated, who, exactly is she saying good night to everynight?
Who is playing darts with Stryker?
Why is helping at Flying Paws Dictation?
Hmmm.
Not the answer she was wanting.
But on the bright side, apparently Mommy (in one of her past lives) played a pretty big role during the Middle Ages!
I would gladly offer it up to anyone who needed to rub it. Mommy called it my "Buddah Belly".
Even the strongest of men were powerless against my belly!
The curse...
Because I had such a faboo belly, Mommy had taken to giving me zerberts (you know, pfthhhht) on my belly, right by my upper arm pits. She said she couldn't resist.
It tickled. It always made me look at her with my crazy eyes.
Well now, it seems, Sammy is the recipient of the belly zerberts. Apparently he has a faboo belly too!
The first time she did it, Sammy looked at her, put his paws together to form a "t" - indicating he needed a time-out.
What.
Just.
Happened?!?
He walked off, shaking his head.
Sorry buddy, that's the price you pay for having an irresistable belly!
