Birthday: April 16th 2006 Likes: People!!! Lots and lots of people! Oh yeah, did I mention people? Pet-Peeves: Other dogs barking. If it is loud and annoying bark, she will turn and walk the other way Favorite Toy: Anything that makes noise! But most of all, stuffed animals with sqeakers in it Favorite Food: Eukanuba Puppy Chiots and any other dog food. If one of her friend's food is still in their bowl, Zoe will eat it. Favorite Walk: The walk to the car to go buh-byes. Sometimes she will walk halfway down the street. I have heard that shih tzus are not walking dogs. They are too good for that! Best Tricks: Sitting pretty, shake (paw), speak, roll over, spin, dance, high five, gimme 10, up, and come-come-come! When she "comes" to you, she has to lick your ears. She thinks that is her reward. Arrival Story: We had not planned on getting a puppy for awhile. One Saturday afternoon, we just so happened to see little Zoe at a puppy place. Yes, we had hoped on not buying her from a store, but when we saw her, we had to have her! We got to hold her and play with her for awhile. As soon as she started licking our faces, we had to have her. There was no doubt in our minds that she was the one for us. She has changed our lives forever. Bio: A BIT ABOUT ZOE My name is Zoe. I am a purebred, spoiled rotten Shih Tzu. I get to do pretty much anything I want to around here. But what I enjoy the most is spending quality time with my mommy. I am always less than 2 feet away from her at all times. Since she doesn't go to a job everyday like daddy, we are never apart for long. Mommy takes me on buh-byes a lot. We go to the car wash together. I always get so much attention at the car wash. I know, it's because I'm cute, right? I love my daddy as well. He is the one who likes to play rough with me. We wrestle for hours at a time. He also throws the ball a lot for me. I will fetch the ball, but then I run and hide underneath the couch with it. Then daddu has to fetch the ball from me! People and my dog friends like to call me Zoanator. I guess they say I instigate a lot of things. I will bother someone or some dog until I get their attention. Yes, it's always about me. (It is kind of a long story, but it has been awhile since I wrote)
I just got back from another long and exciting road trip to Wisconsin. This time the trip wasn't as good as we all had hoped. Don't get me wrong, I had a lot of fun, but there were so many little things that spoiled some of the excitement of the season.
So, the night before we are suppose to leave, my daddy decided the change the battery on our SUV. (The service people told him the battery was getting bad and that we needed a new one. So daddy decided he would put a new one in and save some money) Well, when he tried to take out the old battery, and one of the lines were corroded and stuck to the old battery. Things got worse from there and it ended up being about 4 hours of changing the battery that night. Luckily he got it fixed at 12:30am. We wanted to be on the road at 6am. So, mommy drove for awhile. Then we stoped in southern Illinois at a Motel 6. Daddy again wanted to save a little money for the road trip. Mommy got mad that the place was dirty and next to the highway. (Daddy will never live this one down :) The next day my brother Charlie Brown and I both got really sick. We were both wheezing and I was throwing up. Something had to be in that room. Mommy was even more mad now about the hotel!
So, Christmas eve we got to our destination. Gosh, I did not want to go into that white stuff called snow. It was too cold on these little Florida puppy feet. But when I went outside, they took me to the only semi-grassy area to do my duties. After awhile I started to like the snow. I rang the bell to go outside and just play and eat it! Don't eat the colored snow though! Yuck!
I got lots of presents this year. Maybe I need a bigger toy box now. Too much stuff! Oh yeah, I got a lot of treats too! Mommy and daddy got lots of gifts too, but my mommy got what she really wanted this year...to feel a baby kick! She did, with the help of me, I might add. I was laying on her lap next to her belly and she felt the first kick! She was so happy! I am too. Baby get here soon!
Well, after lots of visits with family and friends, we started our trip back south where the sun is warm and the grass is greener. This time on the way back, mommy booked the hotel room and it was sooo much nicer. I still acted like a little guard dog and growled at every sound that I heard during the night. (I am not a barking dog either. Who knew I could be so protective.)
Well, it's 2007 and a new year has begun. My birthday is in April and I am so looking forward to it! It will be a huge birthday pawtay for me.

So, it has been awhile since I wrote an entry in my diary. Things have been really busy. First of all, I took my first road trip to Wisconsin in October. I think I was in that car for way too long. The cool thing was that I got to stay at the people hotel halfway there! Gosh, people hotels are way more fun than doggie hotels. When we got to Wisconsin, it was very cold. But there were thousands of leaves on the ground. I just loved going outside and grabbing one to bring in the house to chew on. I also got to meet a lot of family. Everyone was so nice. The all gave me so much love and attention. I also met my uncle Shadow. We had so much fun playing together. He chased me around the house for hours. He also has a fantastic box of toys. There has to be at least a hundred of them. I got to take some home with me. I can't wait to go back for Christmas!
The other big event going on right now is that my mommy is going to have a baby!! Yay! This is her first one and she knows already that I am going to be licking that baby like crazy when he/she gets here. I will be an awesome big sister! So, mommy has been sick a lot lately and is sorry she hasn't been on dogster that much. We spend a lot of time sleeping and cuddling together. I make sure that she is ok. So, little baby will be here in June!
Well, I hope to get back into the swing of things on Dogster again. This entire month is crazy for my family, but hopefully after the holidays I will be here more and have tons of new pictures to share! Happy Holidays to all!!!!
Phew! This past week was a long and fun-filled week. Here is what happened in this pooch's life.
Okay, so I finally got to meet some people in my family. One set of my grandparents came to visit me this past week. It was so much fun. They brought me toys and fortune snookies. My grandma also bought me some treats from a doggie bakery too. They were yummy.I got to play a lot with grandma and grandpa. Mommy said I was a good girl this week.
I also go to go to the doggie hotel for 2 days. My family went on a trip to Savannah, GA. The doggie hotel was a blast!!! I got to go into the play field with other pups my size. The staff at the doggie hotel said that I was too little to hang out by the pool, but that was okay with me. When mommy and daddy came to pick me up from the hotel, I peed all over the floor when I saw them! Oh my gosh! I missed them soo much! The staff at the doggie hotel said that I had a good report card. Everybody at the hotel was sad to see me go. They all loved having this cute face around... :)
I also went to my first puppy bootcamp class. My oh my. There were some VERY naughty dogs there. This one ugly mutt kept snarling at this nice Collie. I stayed away from that bad doggie. My teacher said I did well, for the most part. I just couldn't walk anymore in the heat, so I sat down and wouldn't budge. Yeah, it was hot this morning! Anyways, I learned how to walk on a leash and how to sit, even though I mastered that one a long time ago. But it was good for mommy and daddy to go to school. Puppy school? Nah, people school!
So that is what I have been up to lately. Gotta go and take that well deserved nap!
