Lately......

Good Bye!

It is with a sadden heart, that Kelly was put to rest last Monday. It became very hard for her to move around anymore due to the vertebrae in her back fusing, which caused her back legs to become very weak. She stated experiencing alot of pain for the past month, and with the weakness she developed it became very hard for her to function. It became very hard for her to walk and eat. Plus she did not have much quality of life.

So.....good-by our sweet Kelly. May you now run in the fields chasing those cows you so loved to chase and run in the fields just because you felt like it. You now have no pain and are young again. You have been a good friend to us, in both good times and bad, and welcomed everyone one that came into our house. We will ALWAYS love you and will miss you everyday. Geoff and Maggy will miss you so much also.

It's So Hot!

Man, I really wish it wasn't so hot. This hot weather really doesn't agree with me. All I want to do is sleep in front of Michaels room where there is some cool air coming from it. It helps me sleep better, but I know Mom worries about me cause I'm sleeping so much lately. I just don't feel like getting up and going outside, or eating very much. Hopefully it will cool down some and then I'll start to feel like my normal self.

My Check Up

Mom and Dad had to take me back to the vet yesterday cause when I was in there on Thursday Dr. Ellis wasn't told I was there for my bath and that he needed to check on some things that was going on. So, he called Mom yesterday morning and Mom and Dad took me back in. I've been doing alot of scratching along me left ear, so he thinks it might be allergies. So he gave Mom some ear drops to put in my ear. And then Mom noticed I had some new lumps around my jaw/neck area. Dr. Ellis checked on those too and said they were nothing but cysts. And then Dr. Ellis also ran some blood work on me. You will never guess what he said about that!! He said for someone MY age I'm actually in pretty good health. Boy did that ever relieve Mom!! She worries about me so much. but I guess its better to have someone worry about you then not....right? I love her so much and my mom loves me too!!
