Arrival Story: We found Sophie through a rescue home, which we found on the internet. Her mom was rescued from an abusive family while she was pregnant with Sophie. Bio: Sophie graduated 2nd in her kindergarten class and hopes to continue her education.

Today was not a good day. My parents caught on to the fact that I'm a digger (I can't help it!) and so they covered up the 4" hold I dug in the carpet and they put a tool box on the bed to keep me from ripping yet another sheet. My urge to dig may have been enhanced during our trip to the Outer Banks; I got a whole sand box to dig as deep as I wanted for as long as I wanted.
Since I didn't have the bed or the carpet (I'm telling you, there was something that smelled good - I HAD to dig!) I thought I'd go low key with the toilet paper roll. The bathroom door hasn't been locking, so I bumped it once and it popped right open. The roll wasn't satisfying enough: I decided the chair in the living room was the best option. I've had my eye on it for some time. They put that icky stuff on the wood but they didn't spray the cushion, so I figured it was okay. Hindsight is 20/20: it left more of a mess than the carpet. I KNEW I shouldn't have done it. When Mamma got home she made these horrible sounds - she kept inhaling air and chanting "Oh Sophie, OHHHH SOPHIE..." I didn't like that much.
I tried to be good tonight, really. I got a clean plate award and I pretty much left them alone during their dinner, though they had french fries and it was hard to ignore. I wanted to snuggle with Mamma and Tyler during Shrek 2 - but Tyler tasted just like the fries...I just needed a taste...well, several, actually.
I'll do better....well, I'll try.
