Barney goes down town!

Yesterday Barney got to go with me all over, even downtown, with me while I ran errands. He loved the entire experience, smelling the downtown smells and "city trees" planted in concret, and loved all the attention he got. You'd have thought he was THE Hushpuppy doggy LOL The funniest part was when we had to go inside a high rise building and ride the elevator, he was so good and so curious! We went inside an office and the doors were all glass. He saw himself in the reflection and BOOF'd the whole time! It was so funny, all the office's employees came to see the doggy. He was hiding between my legs BOOF!ing at himself!! A wise lady went to the door and said to Barney "How about I make that doggy go away?" and propped both glass doors open. Then Barney was sad that the doggy left!!! LOL!!! He went looking for it. It was time to go by then and we left, he kept looking back wondering where his new friend went... I wish I'd had a camera with me, would've been so cute for the scrapbooks. Yes I'm making a scrapbook for my doggies to go with my kids scrapbooks, lol

I love sticks!

Barney has always got a stick or twig in his mouth, he always finds one during our walks and then carries it along with him, sometimes all the way home. Sometimes he tries to lug a really big one. He doesn't fetch them, he just carries them around. I found a pile of them around the side of the house, my kids said they didn't do that so I think he's stockpiling sticks! LOL
