new spot on the lake

We went to the lake again yesterday and it was just me and mama, so that was great. We didn't go to the special spot, we found a new one. there was a nice rock ledge great for basking in the sun. I didn't like swimming there quite as much as the special spot b/c the water had more waves and I prefer calmer water. I kept asking mama to give me a break and sometimes she did, but sometimes she told me "swim by yourself" and it was a little wavey for me. But, I always enjoy exploring new places. Mama was excited and said it would be a great sunset spot, whatever that is.

yesterday mama, michael and I got to go to our special spot at the lake. I had so much fun tromping through the woods and all around exploring through the trees and brush while my silly mama and michael were singing together-those people are nuts, but I love them. finally we got to the lake and I took a little swim before we made it to the spot, but then when we got there I jumped in and waited for my friends to come too, but they took FOREVER changing, so I got out and squealed at them a bit and finally they got in and we all swam together happily, except I was still tired from running so much in the woods, and usually mama will hold me when i need a break, but michael kept pushing me away and telling me to swim by myself :( I got kind of annoyed that they didnt' want to hold me and I took a rest on shore while they did they're mushy lovebird stuff..finally mama called me back for a swim and swam with me and held me for a break-then she got all excited about this big goofy herons, so she ignored me some more, but Michael threw sticks and rocks for me to fetch (or attempt to fetch-it's tough to fetch rocks in the water I've found) so that was great fun. Oh I just LOVE Jordon lake-i love swimming swimming swimming!!! (but I kinda like it better when it's just mama and me alone)
