Hello all just wanted to say thanks for all the tips & suggestions about the allergic reaction that I seem to have been having lately. My email has been over ran with your well wishes & I am truly thankful for all of your concerns, thoughts & prayers. I’m happy to say that I’m feeling much better now! Hopefully, it’s chin up & full speed ahead from here ~

Well it’s been a little while since I’ve had time to write. We’ve been traveling a little & then we house sat for my Aunt Donna while they went on a deep sea fishing trip. I really like hanging out at their house cause I get to spend time with my buddy Casper, their black lab. He’s not much for sharing toys but is a lot of fun to chase in the yard.
It’s been a rough week so far, I’ve spent 4 days at the vet’s office. Saturday I didn’t feel good & by Saturday night, I was having trouble breathing & had huge knots of some sort all over me. My mom’s friend is a vet so she called him & we rushed down there about 11:00 p.m. I was put on oxygen, pricked & poked all over and finally diagnosed as having an allergic reaction of some sort. I was covered with hives and they were even in my mouth, which was causing my breathing problems. I was put on an IV, given a couple shots & had to hang out there until Monday afternoon. I’ll tell you something to, I really like Dr. Tommy & Dr. Phillip but I hated staying there. My mom came by twice a day & visited with me which was cool. But I really just wanted to go home. My mom took off work & picked me up as soon as the doc said I could leave on Monday. When I got home, mom had bought me a new toy; it was a giant stuffed frog. It was soooo Sweet! I played with it all afternoon. Then I started feeling bad again. Early Tuesday morning I had to wake my mom up cause I was burning up & couldn’t seem to catch my breathe. You guessed it, another dash to the vet’s office. I had the dang ole hives again! Doc says that I’m allergic to something & that we may go through this a few more times before we narrow down & figure out what it is. Yea, not a big deal to him, he’s not the one that can’t breathe & is itching all over. Anyway’s after another overnight stay at the vet, I’m glad to report that I’m feeling better. He went through an entire of list of things with us, have we changed cleaning solutions, changed my food, added any new plants, changed laundry detergent, changed my shampoo… and on & on & on…??? Of course, the answer was no to all questions so now it’s like I’m under police surveillance. I can’t hardly move without my mom, Nanny or Kyle watching my every step. I swear, what does a guy gotta’ do to get a lil privacy?!!!
Whelp, its breakfast time … bark at ya’ later!

Sorry I haven’t written in a few days. It’s been so hectic lately with summer coming to an end & school getting ready to start back. I’ve been trying to put on a sad face but I think I’m actually going to like having the run of the house while mom’s at work and Kyle’s at school….. That’s right Hazel; Mom’s leaving me in charge. {I wonder what I should charge her to baby sit that cat anyway?!}
We spent the weekend hanging out with friends & family. I stayed with my Nanny Friday night. I like staying with her, she spoils me rotten! Shh, don’t tell mom, she doesn’t like for me to have “real food” but my Nanny says a little treat every once in awhile never hurt anybody so we had hamburger steaks, baked potatoes & my one of my favorites, macaroni-n-cheese for supper. It was all sooo good & I slept like a baby afterwards.
Saturday morning my mom took me for a walk. We went early because it’s been so hot here lately. It was like 99 degrees. Then I stayed with my Aunt Sis while my mom, Aunt Donna & the kids went school shopping. I had fun at her house too. She let me swim/play in her garden tub. It was nice but I didn’t like it when she turned on the jets. The noise scared me.
Man, you should have seen all the bags that my mom had when she got home. I think she tried to buy at least one of everything in the mall! I got a couple new polo shirts, a new back pack & a new baseball jersey that says “Player”. I was rockin’ it at the ball field Sunday. I mean I looked good!! There was this little dachshund there that kept checking me out. She was cute, but not a lot upstairs if you know what I mean. It was hot at the ball field so we decided to go for a swim afterwards. I’m happy to report that my new life jacket fit perfectly so I was free to just swim & dive all I wanted. I got tired so I got on a float & just kicked back for a while. My Uncle Scott snuck me some homemade Grapico ice-cream & I tell ya’ that stuff is flippin sweet! I loved it!
Hey, I think I here Mom in the kitchen……. Gotta’ go!
