Arrival Story:
I've lived with my mom since I was just a puppy. She adopted me from some nice people at Friends for Life - it was sooo cool the way I met her. Mom had been looking for a dog of her very own and was looking at dogs all over. She came to visit Friends for Life (F4L) and met lots of other dogs there. She said that she was getting ready to leave when she saw me hidden away in a corner in a crate. I remember that too - I was soooo scared, and she came up to me and looked at me, and I knew that I had to go home with her! Sometimes you just know who the right parents are! The F4L people had called me Rita - cause I had pretty hair like Rita Hayworth. Mom decided to name me Princess. I think it suits me, don't you?
