Personally, at the time, I was preferring a Rotweiller. Anyway, I reluctantly answered an ad in a newspaper, JUST to LOOK at the litter. When I walked in the houe, Dacquari's daddy (zues, 110 lbs) met me at the front door with his Binky (blanket) in his mouth and his Momma (Naja (sp), 95 lbs) was running around nosing her babies. As I was playing with the pups, Dacquari would run and jump up into my lap, give me a kiss and run off. I loved how she was friendly, playful, but independent. I was the primary caregiver and guilty pamperer after she had her ears cropped (we were inseparable) and my other half was, sadly, out of a Doberman, I became the MOMMA. ha ha ha Bio: My baby girl puts all Mean Doberman Myths to rest! She acts like a Momma to any baby that comes into her life: puppies, children, baby ducks, etc. Once we fostered a 6 mo. old Chow Chow mix. He would chase our friends 3 year old around the house (playing). He growled at her 2 times while chasing her and both times, Dacquari stepped in between him and the baby, put her mouth over his head and pushed it down to the ground to teach him to NOT growl at the little girl! She is the joy and blessing of my life. Forums Motto: Dacquari-gentle giant The Last Forum I Posted In: Solid Gold dog food I've Been On Dogster Since:
