 Quick Bio:
| -purebred | -pound dog | -dog rescue | |
 Birthday: April 1st 2002
Likes: Jally enjoys keeping squirrels from invading our yard, herding cats, licking people, chasing balls and (almost) bringing them back, lying on the couch when no one is home and looking guilty when we come in, & eating the cat's food and looking guilty later

Pet-Peeves: Not being allowed to eat the cat's food, not being able to train us to retrieve the ball she (almost) brings to us

Favorite Toy: Anything with fluff that can be gutted, soccer balls, golf balls, tennis balls, probably bowling balls given the opportunity

Favorite Food: Cat food - any kind will do, pizza crusts, chicken pot pie, macaroni and cheese

Favorite Walk: The park, especially the playground because she likes climbing the plastic rocks

Best Tricks: Licking - playing JallyJollyVolleyball - climbing trees after squirrels

Arrival Story: Jally was in the Denton Animal Shelter stray from Roanoke in November, 03. She was so sweet and lovely and TINY. I put her on Petfinder.com just before Thanksgiving, went away for a few days, came back and she looked like she'd been inflated. I wanted to adopt her but I knew we couldn't manage another litter of puppies or my husband would throw me out of the house. She was taken in by Frisco Humane Society the same day she started giving birth (we sat in her kennel while she had her six kids). Once the pups were weaned, we adopted her and she's been my sweet girl ever since!

Bio: The Jalapeno looks forward to continuing with her humans' obedience training and she hopes to teach them herding as well. It's a good thing she's patient because her family is exceptionally incompetent. But they do know how to serve meals on a regular basis so she hopes for the best!
