Arrival Story:
I was looking for a playmate for my dog. I called and inquired about some puppies, but since they were gone the owner asked if I would be interested in the father dog. I came over and he was beautiful, but too much for me. Lola, the mother dog was living in a small apartment with four other dogs--a male siberian husky and 3 pitt bulls. She had just said goodbye to her puppies. Her owner loved her dearly and wanted her to have her own fenced in yard to run and play. Lola Bahli(formerly Bahli) was so precious and my dog Lucy loved her so I brought her home instead. She is a wonderful dog and I am so lucky to have found her.

Bio:
lola has become the love of our lives. she is smart and energetic and loves to please. she has a big vocabulary and understands many words like: go bye bye, walk, get your rope, get the slipper, outside, water, treat, sit, shake, lay down, bed, kisses etc. she is a big snuggler and loves to jump up on a high antique bed. she is the fastest dog in america and maybe in the entire world.

The Life and Times of Lola Bahli

Mommy's best girl

I have been such a help to mommy with Zoogi's puppies. I love them and play with them and protect them. I think that mommy loves me the best because she always lets me sleep on her bed with her and none of the other dogs do. I have a huge vocabulary now and understand just about everything that is said to me. Yesterday it was so warm and beautiful here that i spent all day working in the yard with mommy and watching the birds, squirrels and ants. I love my life. Aroooooo!

I can clean up my own mess--I am a wonderdog!

Mommy went back to school today. She is a teacher and Lucy and I were really sad to see her go. We have had a wonderful summer. After a couple of hours I had to go to the bathroom really bad, and I am a good climber so I climbed over 2 high baby gates. I tried to get the back door open, but it wouldn't budge so I had an accident on the floor. I felt really bad about messing up mommy's floor, but I am a smart dog and knew just what to do. I pushed over the bottom gate to get back into the kitchen and got the roll of paper towels that mommy uses when I have mistakes. I rolled it out over my mess and it all went away. When mommy came home she wasn't mad and laughed. Then she thanked me for trying so hard and said that I was the most amazing dog in the world--she called me a 'wonderdog." I am very proud of myself. Mommy said that she is going to teach me how to spray the cleaner next and then how to put the paper towels in the trash and take it out to the garage.

Lola's big adventure

This morning when mommy let me out I looked over the fence and wondered in my heart "what is out there in that big world? I bet there are lots of nice people and dogs and things to chew on." So I hopped over the fence and off I ran. I found some really nice people and they took me to their house. Then a nice guy in a truck came and put me in a cage. I was a little scared. 15 minutes later the man in the truck said that my mom was on the phone and we were going home. When we pulled up to the house I thought that mom might be mad at me, but she just hugged me and said that she had been worried sick and was glad that I was o.k. I had a really great time playing with Lucy, but now mom won't let me run and play in the backyard without the leash and I don't like that at all. I heard mom say that we need a bigger fence. What is a fence?
