Arrival Story:
I saw Abby (formerly named Cammie) on Hopalong Animal Rescue's web site. I had just lost one of my dogs to cancer and I wanted to have something good (rescuing a dog) come out of something bad (losing my beloved Cowy). When I saw Abby's face, which was nearly identical to Cowy's, I knew she was meant to be mine. Abby has been a huge challenge-- "when she's good she's very, very good and when she's bad she's horrid" is how I like to describe her. Despite being a high-maintenance girl, she won my heart and so we're together for the long haul.
