 Quick Bio:
 Birthday: February 1st 2001
Likes: Hiking, riding in the car, playing 'find it" with a treat, staring at her Aunt's rabbit (hes safe in a cage), eating asparagus out of the garden, begging mom for treats, waking mom up early on weekends to eat, my Uncle Kevin, and wrestling with daddy

Pet-Peeves: Being pet by strangers for more than 2 seconds, when people ask for my paw, being left home alone (I stare out the window with a sad look on my face), getting nails clipped, the vets, lots of kisses from mom (she needs to stop at some point).

Favorite Toy: Flashlight, kong (loves it filled with p.b.), tennis ball, rocks, soccer ball, her fake rock, and squeaky toys

Favorite Food: Asparagus, any green veggies, ice cubes, doggie ice cream cones, and her Solid Gold Wolf King

Favorite Walk: Bradbury Mountain Trails, Wolfes Neck Farm Trails, or the high school right behind my house. I go there and play ball and sniff alot.

Best Tricks: Sit, stay, lay, come, heel, paw, no begging, go get your toy, go to bed, go to the bathroom, hold treat on nose, speak, her "find it" game

Arrival Story: Sadie is my ex-boyfriends dog who has now also become mine over the past three years. He got her out in Wyoming five years ago when he was at college. A trucker dropped her off at some diner out there and one of the workers took her home and realized that they couldn't keep her for whatever reason. So, he ended up with her. She was really young at the time. Under 8 weeks. When she was a few months old she was stolen from him. He told all the vets offices around and a puppy matching her description came in to one of them so they called him, he went to see if it was her, it was, and the rest is history.

Bio: Sadie is a great dog. She does have hip problems so fairly soon they need to be replaced. As a puppy she had fractured her left hip in three places. But she is on Cosequin and doing well. Sadie is an interesting dog at times. She seems to pick and choose who can be friends with her and who can't. Example- she hates my cousin Amanda. Over the past three years Amanda has gone from not being able to even talk to Sadie without a show of teeth to being able to pet her once in a while for a few seconds. Her husband is one of Sadie's best friends and has been since the day they met. Kevin can do almost anything with her. I was always alittle jealous because it took Sadie a good 6 months and lots of treats to like me. (She gained 10 lbs. in that 6 months but has since lost it) But now she loves me. So, needless to say, she is sort of a one mans dog. She doesn't play well with other animals. She loves small animals but only because she thinks they are squeaky toys. She would hurt them. So, you will see no others under family. Unless you count my 8 year old Goldfish. They all get along. And, just to let you know, in one of these pictures she is eating asparagus, not trying to bite my hand off. Well, I guess this is it for now on my baby girl.

Well, last night I was really begging mom for alot of stuff. We played ball, we played with the flashlight, we wrestled on the floor, I went out side, and we played with my kong when we came back in. Mom sat down on the couch and I still was whining for more. When she got up and asked me what I wanted, I brought her to the fridge. She knows that when I go there I want ice cubes. I'm obsessed with them. I don't know if it is the crunch I love or what. Well, when I was a puppy and I was losing my teeth my daddy used to wet face cloths and freeze them so I could chew on them. I think that started my obsession with ice cubes and my stealing of wet face cloths. But anyway, mom thought that she would make me really happy and she gave me three or four handfuls of ice cubes. Well, she didn't think anything of it because sometimes in the summer she blocks me off on the balcony with the door open (its right off our kitchen) and she lets me lay out there with a huge chunck of frozen ice cubes. I love it! Well, last night I got to lay on my bed with my bowl of ice and eat it. I came out of the bedroom and sat next to mom. She was watching tv. When she pet me she noticed that my ears were cold. She then got a kiss from me and realized that my tongue and nose were very cold. She looked at my gums and saw that they were really white. I was shaking alittle and she was worried that I was having another seizure or something. I had one petite mal a few months ago. Not since then though. I started to whine, I ran and got my tennis ball and did my goofy run around the house to let her know I was fine. I just got cold eating my ice cubes but I didn't care....I love them! We ran around the apartment boxing at each other and doing our goofy runs to warm me up. It took about 2 minutes and I was fine. I have a feeling that I worried mom just a bit and I may not get that many ice cubes all at once. I do the same thing every winter with snow and ice. I love it. My poor mom didn't know that I would get so cold from eating so many ice cubes. Well, I guess that is it for now. Bye bye.

When I first met Sadie she hated me. Hated me. She would growl and snap and carry on all the time no matter what I was doing. I couldn't even get within 5 feet of her if she was eating. She was so protective of her dad and very upset that I came into their lives. Well, day after day I would try everything to get her to like me. She got alot of treats and donut holes. She gained ten pounds and has since lost it. After about 6 months she started to except me. Our relationship grew and we have become best friends. She is my little grouch. My cute little love muffin. I love her now more than anything and she loves me. I wouldn't trade her for anything. I refused to give up with her and I. She is much more stubborn then I am. Having Sadie means that no other animals can come and live with us which is alittle upsetting to me since I would love to be able to give other animals a good home but, Sadie wouldn't be happy if she wasn't an only dog so, for her, she remains one and I don't feel like she could be any happier. Her and I now have a bond and I couldn't ask for a better little love muffin. I love you Sadie. This is a special Tail of Devotion

Well. Yesterday was my first day meeting a baby. What a strange thing that is. I thought it was a squeaky toy at first so I licked it alot and tried to talk to it but I think I may have scared it alittle. It started to cry. I started to bark. I didn't know what was going on. What did I say?? What ever it was he didn't like it. I think that he was just as confused as I was. Once I realized it was a little person I decided to go and stare out the window alittle bit and play with one of the babies car seat toys for a while. I was funny.....you should have seen me! Anyway, the kid was cute but I liked it better when I thought it was a squeaky toy. Until next time.....
