When my mommy found me I had a broken leg and was very sick. She tried to find who I belonged to but never did. The vet noticed I had puppies and that I had been abused.

Bio:
Hi my name is Peanut Rochelle. I had a very hard life before my mommy rescued me. I had babies and we never found them. My mommy found me with a broken leg. She tried to find who I belonged to but had no luck. Mommy thought I was a mutt at first but didn't care, all she wanted to do was help me. She brought me to the vet and I'm all better now. I love my family and I'm thankful they found me. Everyone says I'm big and tells me I'm a Shiba Inu, I don't understand why they call me that because I'm a black and tan dachshund. I get a haircut every summer that's why my hair is so short in this picture, mommy even makes me shave my fluffy tail. I'm very happy go lucky but if you try to hurt my family I'll getcha.

Why do I need a haircut?

Mommy has been talking the last few days about my hair getting long. I had the feeling I had to go to the groomers again. Mom says I have thick long hair around my neck and that my tail is very fluffy. I like Mrs. Vickie the groomer but I hate it when she cuts my hair so short, it makes me feel naked. Plus it makes me look like a boy. I love my long hair. I try to tell mommy it doesn't make me hot but she doesn't understand. Every time I get back from the groomers with my short hair cut sissie makes fun of me. I was really happy when I got back though because mommy bought me a new toy and lots of treats!!! I guess it wasn't so bad after all.
