Life and ice creeam
A green squeeky frog
ice cream, hot dogs and watermelon
He sits up and waves his paws, he catches flys out of mid air, he plays fetch with anything I can throw.
I have only had Milo for 1 day as of July 7, 2006. So I don't know very much about his personality yet.
My wonderful little Shih Tzu boy passed away on July 3, 2006.
I knew I needed to get another dog right away. Not just any dog, but another Shih Tzu. I am a strong supporter of adopting slightly used dogs from shelters. In fact, all of my dogs have come from shelters.
I started looking right away. On Petfinder.com and my local shelters websites. I found a Shih Tzu in foster care 80 miles away and arranged to drive there to meet him. However, they wanted $300.00 for him, and since I just went into debt trying to save KC, that price was out of the question.
Later that day I found a Shih Tzu at the local shelter. I went there to see him and it was love, at first sight. I asked about his history and they told me he has been brought there by the son of the owner. She had passed away and he wanted the dog euthanized. The vet at the shelter thankfully talked him out of it and he was put for adoption. He had only been at the shelter for 2 days. But low and behold, he is not a Shih Tzu at all, he is a Lhasa Apso. No matter, he is still a great dog.
So far, he has fit right in, but I think he is a little confused about the situation.
August 1, 2006, I have had Milo for one month now. He has turned out to be a wonderful, sweet little dog. He is a people dog. When we go for walks, he stops people just to say hi. Everyone he meets loves him. I took him to the groomer the first time 2 weeks ago. When I went to pick him up, the groomer came out to tell me how much they loved him.
I think I hit the jackpot!!
Today July 7, 2007 is the anniversary of my arrival at my forever home. It has been a wonderful year. I love my home and Mom and my sister Jenny love me.
I have turned out to be quite a character and a little quirky.
Milo passed away 2/21/2015 from an aggressive fast moving cancer. We were lucky to have him for as long as we did. We will love and miss him forever.
I love ice cream

I know we don't get here often. We check every once in a while.
I just wanted you all to know, Milo died this morning. I held him while he took his last breath. He did not suffer, he was not in pain and he was surrounded by me, Hobo and Luna.
He had cancer and it had spread too far to do anything. He was stoic because he showed no signs until he was too far along.
We will love and miss him forever. He joins is sister Jenny and a million friends will greet him at the Bridge.

For the nice birthday wishes and pressies.
Mom is having a challenging time right now. After living in our house 40 years, we are moving. Boy do we have a bunch of crap. We are moving from a 2 bedroom house to a one bedroom apartment. It's going to be a change for us dogs. We won't be able to go in and out like we do now so we will be locked up all day waiting for mom to come home. Momma is going to use potty pads until we get used to it. We are good at using them. Hobo and I are quite and I don't ever bark. We both sleep most of the day but Luna,, oh boy! She is the barker. She is coo-coo and hyper and annoying.
All I know is momma better remember our treats and toys.
The move is on Monday, 7/14. Wish us luck.

Well my pup pals, It is a true fact, I am totally deaf. Momma took me to my dogtor yesterday and she couldn't see any physical reason for it. Just old age. Momma have never had a deaf dog before, so she is just trying to figure out how to deal with it. She learned the hard way not to scare me. A few weeks ago, she was walking by me, I was sleeping on the floor and she accidently hit me with her foot. It scared me and I bit her. Now, if she walks by me, she stamps her foot so I feel the vibration and it doesn't startle me.
Do you know what the best thing is? I can't hear her yell at me when I get in the garbage can in the kitchen. I am a bad boy. I have been doing that for a long time, even when I'm not hungry. I think it is fun to see how mad momma gets. She usually hides it but, sometimes she forgets it and I'm on it the minute she turns her back.
Anyway, momma and I have a lot to learn about being deaf. If any of your mommas know any tricks, let momma know.
