Arrival Story:
We were dying for a dog but couldn't because we were renting. As soon as we bought our house, we started looking at shelters. We ended up being offered a puppy by our neighbor whose dog just had pups. I chose the chubbiest, fluffiest one. He had me when he snuggled up to my leg and took a nap. My husband picked the name Duke.

Bio:
We've known Duke since he was three weeks old. We had to bring him home at only five weeks old. He was so young that the doctor said we should feed him formula for about two weeks. He had my husband when he used his tiny little paws to hold up his tiny little bottle. He was 7 lbs when we brought him home but he was already over 100 lbs at 9 months old! There is only room to choose two breeds, but Duke is also part Rottweiler.
