Birthday: September 19th 2005 Likes: Playing with his cat friend Perseus and playing fetch in the backyard Favorite Toy: She loves her Kong Frisbee. She also really likes ropes with a ball on the end that she can shake and swing around Favorite Food: VitaBones and Natural Choice Favorite Walk: She loves a walking trail on Brea Canyon Road near our house. Best Tricks: Sophie loves to chew collars right off the neck up her doggie pal Dixie. So far, she has eaten three collars! Arrival Story: Sophie was adopted from a breeder in our area. She came from a litter of 11 puppies, five of them female. On the day I picked out Sophie, the breeder had all of the female puppies in a kennel. I went in to meet them. Four of them were very hyper and nipping at my hands and clothes. Sophie was the one that climbed right in my lap and reached up to give kisses! Bio: Sophie has a sweet and lovable disposition. She is very gentle and patient with other animals, especially our four cats! She is very athletic and loves to run, fetch, and play. Sophie also loves to give wet kisses to all of the people in her life and all of her animal friends. Sophie adores our other dog, Dixie - a miniature pincher. Whenever she and Dixie bark at a stranger walking by, she always scuttles Dixie underneath her for protection. Sometimes when Sophie is laying down, Dixie climbs onto her and sit on her like a sofa! Sophie also really loves wrestling with our cat Perseus. He is a very large cat (Maine coon) and quite brave about tackling a large dog.
