Arrival Story: ?There was this nice lady named Barbara who whelped my litter. Barb only had puppies so they could become showdogs. Barb loved me the most. She was going to keep me, but the vet said that I had an enlarged blood vessel in the back of my right eye and should not be bred, for fear that my problem could affect future generations. The vessel couldn't affect me! Well, since showdogs have to be able to breed, and I can't, Barb was going to give me up. It just so happened that Momma was looking for a Corgi at the time, and so she e-mailed Barb after hearing about her. Momma saw my picture over the internet and fell in love. She came so see me later that day, and took me home the next week on May 12, 2006!!?
Bio: ?My biological father's name is Am. Ch. Salvenik Spirit. He is a show dog and left for England shortly after I was born. He has won many competitions. My mother is Highgrove Miss Congeniality, but we call her Camilla. ;) My brothers were Kip and Sunny, and my only sister's name is Gigi. I have a best friend named Sophie, and she is a Pug a little younger than me. Soon, I will start obidience classes with another lady named Barbara (my trainer) and become a real live agility dog!!!?

Momma goes out every night now, and I don't like it. She goes out to these "baseball games" and explains that she has "season tickets", but I don't see the big deal, because I've been to one of those things before and they're really not all that fun. And I'm really jealous because she always cheers for them and she doesn't even cheer for me anymore when I make a potty outside. She always shouts at them, "Dah-las!" and "Aaaaamalio!" and "Ah-bell" and especially "Cooooooon!" And I'm really mad because she talks about that "Coon" a whole lot. Don't see why he's so special. Mom says it's cause he's really fast and really good, but I'm fast and really good and Momma isn't always shouting, "Preeeeetzie!" And now she's all sad n' stuff because Dallas quit. And she all sad around me. Dummie. He's just some guy on a white square on a bunch of grass. And dirt. And through all of this, there is nowhere to poop! Not fair. Plus, she feeds them. Every month, at what she calls a "potluck". And I bet she gives them more than three-quarters of a cup.
This Thursday my Momma leaves for San Francisco, wherever that is, and she says she's going to be gone for four whole days. At first I wasn't sure how long that was, but Momma explained that it was eight whole feeding times and I thought, Wow, that's a long time. I'm going to miss her so much... who's gonna feed me at 4 in the afternoon? Momma told me I'll just have to wait until 7, when Gampa comes home. 7! That's 3 hours off schedule! Me and sissy Jincy are gonna starve! I hope my Momma has fun in San Fernando or Francisco or Ferdanan or wherever but I'm gonna miss her and she knows I'm not gonna be happy. I love my Momma-- I don't want her to go!!!

My sister, Jincy, has done an amazing thing. She is about 15 years old, lame, and basically deaf. Yesterday, Jincy wanted to come out onto the patio from the grass. There is a big, metal gate dividing the two areas of our back yard. But anyways, somehow the gate got shut, and Jincy really wanted to bask in the sun on the patio. So Momma went outside, and opened the gate, and something amazing happened! Jincy, old lame and deaf Jincy, ran!! She skipped! And she did it happily, like a puppy! She ran away from Momma, and Momma was in shock, so she decided to try to call Jincy. She called her name, and normally she wouldn't respond, but this time she did!! She turned around and looked at Momma in the face! Then, to even my Corgi surprise, she did something even more amazing-- she sat when Momma told her to sit, and then she did the most enthusiastic "shake-a-paw" I have even seen! She hasn't done that in years! And she used two paws! Oh, thank Dog, my sister is back!!! I can't wait to go play! YAYYYYYYY!
