Tasty whatever... He would put up with kibble and people food, but all he wanted was to be petted.

Favorite Walk:
In the park; around the neighbourhood, especially down to the lake; and anywhere his family might be.

Best Tricks:
Looking like he had not been petted in months; that forlorn pathetic look was his specialty! Jumping high enough to lick our noses!

Arrival Story:
Clyde had been adopted from the Humane Society by a young, working, married couple, who were gone all day, and who - after one month - grew tired of cleaning up the rubbish and other disasters. My younger daughter caught the add in the paper, and saw through the antics and frantics, insisting we should take him home. We were struck by his good looks, of course, and his big pooly eyes, as well as the huge bulbous nose that somehow got everywhere!! It took chairs, tables and other obstacles to prevent the rubbish being raided, and stuffed toys soon disappeared into safe zones after losing a few to efficient shredding... But eventually Clyde settled in, proving from the first moment how truly loving he was. The best companion imaginable. Clyde left us July 1st, 2006. We miss him terribly.

Bio:
Clyde had a knack for knowing when his human daddy was having a particularly bad Multiple Sclerosis day, and showed his understanding by staying close to his side. Later, when he was bed-bound, Clyde would lie right up next to him, resting his paw on his arm, and his head on his shoulder. He would try to help too, by providing support with his strong back, if ever needed. He would also be very patient with slow moving people, or around the wheelchair. And he would shower his two human sisters with as much love as his human mum!
