Arrival Story:
We got Giz as a puppy from a local family. We got Callee on the same day. At first Callee wanted nothing to do with Giz but after a night alone..she decided Giz wasn't so bad. They were mates for life.

Bio:
Giz was the boss of the Shih Tzu pack. He loved Callee and Chloe(his daughter) but didn't care much for Soci(his son). He brought us many years of love and devotion.

I Got My Wings!!

I've been at the Rainbow Bridge for almost 2 years and now I have my wings. Sometimes you have to wait for good things to happen. There's an angel on Dogster who made me my wings. Mama & Papa are very happy because I'm a fullfledged angel now. One day I'll see them again but until then I'm just hanging out with my canine family... Chloe, Soci and Callee.

Giz was blind and deaf for the last year of his life. He outlived his mate Callee, his son Soci and daughter Chloe. It was just Giz in our home for the last year of his life. We spoiled him rotten and tried to make up for the years he was one of four dogs in our house. He pretty much got to do whatever he wanted to. I know Giz felt our love and in return we felt his. He couldn't see or hear us but he knew we were near by his sense of smell. He'd wake up from a deep sleep when we entered the room and of course if he smelled people food. We are so grateful that Gizzie came into our lives. There's no other dog like Giz and he will always have a special place in our hearts and will always be a part of our family.
