Arrival Story:
After we had to put our beloved Houston to sleep, Daddy couldn't wait any longer than 3 days to get our boy Tex a friend. Meadow was the only one in the newspaper, so she belonged to us. She did fool us though, we picked her instead of the boy puppy cause she "seemed" so calm. Boy did she show us how calm she was!!! She ran all over the house, barking at everything for 3 days! Her 1st year she was a TERROR but now she is the sweetest on earth.
Hey this is me the Queen talking now- I don't know what they are talking about! I was the sweetest puppy on earth, honestly! I was NOT a terror, no way, not at all!
Bio:
I have such a sweet dispositon.I am very friendly to everyone, though afraid of big dogs. I was born March 28, 2001.
I came to this nice home where there was a very handsome "red dachshund" named Tex but they only called him that when he was in trouble otherwise he was called Yoshi!! He was 11& 1/2 years old but man he could outlast me and i was a puppy! I finally grew up and i, well, fell in love with him!! Well he really wasn't my brother and he was so handsome & full of spunk! Then one day my pawrents had to take him somewhere & he never came back home. I waited & waited looking out the window for him everyday. Then 3 days later they brought home this thing they called "Bailey". She was tainted cuz she has this wierd silver color on her! I had to show her that i am the QUEEN of this house. We have become pretty good friends but I miss my boyfriend, Yoshi/Tex!!!

OMD, I'm a Movie Star!! I won a right to be in the end credits of the Movie called "Firehouse Dog"!!! I won a halloween photo contest-3 way tie for 3rd place (hershey kiss) in Doxies Forever. I was also in our local newspaper showing our "University of Michigan" colors (blue & maize) in our doggie sweaters!
Things i miss the most:
playing with my beloved Tex/Yoshi who is now in heaven. Boy that guy could play, i kept him going for 3 years! Well maybe he kept me going!! My sister & I don't play as much anymore, we are into that dominance thingy! I sure do miss Tex/Yoshi, i fell in love with him!!! Some day i will get another boyfriend who love me unconditionally!

Yippe, yesterday my sis & I got to be outside ALL day with our mommy! She was cleaning the flower gardens. We were chasing chipmunks all over! We chased on into the pond flower garden, which is a jungle with all the flowers. Mom yelled at us cuz we knocked over a "Fox Glove"? I screamed" hey where is this fox with a glove, i want a chance at him"!!! And why does he only have one glove, did he loose his other one??? Anyways we searched high & low all day for this Fox with a Glove on but could not find him anywhere. We had to go back to chasing the chipmunks & never got one though, awww what a ruff life!

Oh boy, my mommy has flipped her lid. She had the NERVE to put a "CAT" collar on me. My sister & I have an acre to roam freely wherever we want. Okay sometimes we hide on mommy but so what, she doesn't need to know everything we do. She came home today with this entrapment with BELLS on it. She says it's so she will always know where we are! It's worked so far too because she is always hot on our trail now. I am a queen & deserve my privacy. I don't know what she will think of next. Hhmm, maybe a nice big-juicy-steak to ease my pain???

Meadow thank you for easing the pain for us with loosing Houston. Daddy had to have you and I didn't want you. My heart was broken & I didn't think I could love another dog. Oh my how you healed my heart!! I am sooo glad that Daddy insisted on getting you. You will have the best life we can offer. We hope to have many, many, many good years with you. Love mommy, daddy & Bailey.
