We are very lucky for all the pets that we have, and love them all dearly as they are our children. What I can not believe is how a tiny little puppy came into our lives and changed it so much for the better. My husband Mark and I decided our next dog would be a Great Dane. Everything about them seemed to fit our family. So the search began, it took us far and wide and finally we found this wonderful puppy that just seemed to pull on our heart strings. The sad part was Brett was born half the size of his litter mates, even though he was born second. The breeder was very concerned about him and was unsure he would even make it with all the additional help he was getting. She wanted us to make sure this was the puppy for our family and I assured over and over, yes was the puppy for what ever reason I feel is to be the newest member of our household.
Many a tence week went by to see if Brett would come through and be normal with no immediate health problems. Finally word came through that Brett could come home. I made all the arrangments and left early in the morning to drive and pick up our new puppy. He was better then I imagined and more then I ever expected.
He has brought so much joy to our family along with confidence to our rescue Dane that I thought would take months to accomplish. He is the star in our house and I hope we are blessed with him for many years to come. This is a special Tail of Devotion
