My New Little Sister

I knew it would happen, Mom and Dad tried to explain it before hand, but it was still a little bit of a shock.

Mom started getting real big and I couldn't sit on her belly when we were on the couch watching tv. Then, sometime between Thanksgiving and Christmas (both great times for me because I get lots of yummy morsels from the dinners) they introduced me to "the baby".

First, Mom went away for a few days. Grandpa watched over me and brought this pink blanket from mommy to sniff. Then, mommy came home and had the baby with her. She told me to be nice and said dad was worried I might do something bad. Well, since it's pretty obvious I had puppies before mom and dad adopted me, I knew how to be gentle.

Mom and Dad still give me lots of attention but they also have to take care of her. I watch over as best I can, but I'm a dog and can't do the whole bottle/changing thing. Maybe when she's a little older, I can help more.

Wickett's Visit For the Weekend

This always seems to happen. Wickett's mom goes away and I have to suffer the spaz. Don't get me wrong, I love "Wiggles" (that's another thing they call her) but she's so wound up. I prefer to lounge around when my humans are gone but nooooo, she wants to play "clash of the titans" and chase me around the couch. I'm a laid-back beach dog. Unless I'm frolicking in the sand, I don't do much. Sure, she's cute and all, but where does she get that energy?
