Arrival Story:
I adopted "Sydney" from his previous family in NY. He'd been picked up as a stray by a local shelter there at 3 months old. By the time that this couple adopted him at 4 months old, he'd been adopted and returned 3 times! Once they had kids, they decided to rehome him at 4 years old. Their reason was that he was too much dog for their young kids and they didn't have time for him anymore. I found his picture on PetFinder.com and just knew that I had to have him. So my husband and I drove to NY and met my sister and her husband there for Valentine's Day weekend in 2004. We visited "Sydney's" former family and met him and knew that he was meant to be ours. He made the 9 hour trip back to NH with us a couple of days later.
