Arrival Story:
Bear found us on a very cold rainy day in November. He was soaking wet and it was supposed to snow that night. He ran up to my husband's truck and we took him in for the night. He was not neutered, had on a ratty old collar- no tags, no chip- and needed a bath and nail trim! He was kept away from our other dogs the first night in a crate he seemed very comfortable being in. The next day, he got a vet check as we asked around and hung signs to see if his owner could be located. No luck finding the owner. We assume he was abandoned by one of the many hunters that use the property near us. That person has no idea what a WONDERFUL dog they gave up!

Bio:
Bear is now a Dog Scout through Dog Scouts of America and has earned several badges. He loves agility and biking and hikes. He is obsessed with Lure Coursing and steeplechasing which he gets to do at Dog Camp. He has made himself at home here with us and he's a welcome and loved addition to our family.
